Gordon was raised in rural Manitoba with a family construction business background and obtained his Master of Architecture from the University of Manitoba in 1972.He opened the current architectural practice in 1986 following a ten year partnership with Zoltan Kiss & Partners. The firm has been located in West Vancouver for the past twenty-eight years with a core group of repeat clients including the University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University, Insurance Corporation of British Columbia, the Squamish Nation, Bradner Homes and a broad range of private sector owners. Custom homes on the North Shore and Sea to Sky corridor have also provided exciting opportunities to work on a personal level with interesting clients on often challenging sites. Gordon has lived in West Vancouver since 1973, is married with 3 children and 4 grandchildren. He enjoys cycling, tennis, skiing, gardening and family.
